Bridget Cornock

Bridget moved to Jersey with her husband, James, in August 2024. They live with James' elderly mother in Trinity.

James' grandparents moved to Jersey in the early 1960s, so the family has a long association with the Island, having enjoyed many holidays over the years.

Prior to moving to the Island, Bridget lived in Harrogate, North Yorkshire for 25 years with James and their three children. The children now all live and work in London but love visiting Jersey when they can.

Bridget trained as a Norland Nanny and had many years of experience in childcare, as well as having played an active role for fifteen years with the Harrogate Committee of the Candlelighters Children's Cancer Charity.

Bridget has thrown herself into island life and regularly supports Trinity Parish events, as well as thoroughly enjoying sea swimming, dog walking and playing Padel Tennis.

Bridget looks forward to contributing to giving a voice to consumers as a Member of the Jersey Consumer Council.
