Islanders looking for help with consumer issues can now visit the Jersey Consumer Council at Jersey Library.
With Covid restrictions easing and extension of the library open hours, the Jersey Consumer Council has arranged to set up a stand at the library. Jersey Library is now open until 9 pm on Monday – Thursday, so we will be there on a Wednesday evening between 5-6:30 pm (on a trial basis).
Council members will be located at a table at the base of the library stairs. Members of the public who have consumer related concerns are invited to pop in and discuss the matter. A note of the enquiry and person’s contact details will be taken with any actions progressed during the following days.
Carl Walker, the Council’s Chairman, commented “We’re keen to make the Jersey Consumer Council as accessible as possible, and hope this gives consumers another avenue to engage with us.”
